Dal Dolby Theatre di Los Angeles va in scena la Cerimonia di premiazione della 86esima edizione degli Academy Awards. La notte più lunga e attesa dell’anno vedrà sfilare sul red carpet tante celebrities di Hollywood. Senza dimenticare le maestranze di talento che lavorano dietro le quinte rendendo speciale ogni fotogramma dei film candidati agli Oscar 2014.
La serata si è conclusa col trionfo di 12 anni schiavo e Gravity : il biopic di Steve McQueen si porta a casa la statuetta più prestigiosa, quella per il miglior film, oltre che quelle per la sceneggiatura non originale e per l’attrice non protagonista (l’esodiente Lupita Nyong’o).
Il fanta-thriller di Alfonso Cuaròn conquista invece ben sette premi, tra cui quello per la regia e per la fotografia.
Tra gli interpreti, se per Jared Leto e Cate Blanchett la proclamazione era una pura formalità, la lotta tra Leonardo DiCaprio e Matthew McConaughey è stata incerta fino alla fine: la spunta quest’ultimo, per l’interpretazione del sieropositivo Ron Woodroof in Dallas Buyers Club.
Grandi esclusi The Wolf of Wall Street e American Hustle, che tornano a casa a bocca asciutta.
